Prokaryotes • Cells without a nucleus •Primitive, single celled • Bacteria Eukaryotes • Eukaryote - “true nucleus” • More complex • Do have: Membrane bound organelles • Plant and Animal Cells Organelles • Structures that carry out cell functions • Nucleus, mitochondria, lysosmoes, golgi, etc • Plants- Chloroplasts and vacuoles
