Line—A line goes on forever
Line segment—Has a starting point and a stopping point; it’s part of a line
Ray—has a starting point but goes on forever
Perpendicular Lines—Intersect to form right angles
Parallel Lines—Never intersect
Oblique lines—Intersect but do not form right angles
Vertex—the point where two lines/sides meet.
Angle—Formed when two lines intersect; has a vertex and two sides
Acute angle—Less than 900
Obtuse angle—greater than 90o
Right angle—exactly 90o
Straight angle--1800
Complementary angle—two angles whose measures total 90o
Supplementary angle—two angles who measures total 180o
