CalEst is an innovative, comprehensive and visually attractive package of statistics and probability. It can be used to perform different types of calculations and analysis. It includes several tutorials to help you in the learning process as well as to explore the application of Statistics and Probability in real-life problems. CalEst has been designed to have a friendly interface and intuitive approach to work, speeding the learning process. CalEst runs under the different version of Windows®. With CalEst you can export/import your data to/from other application such as Word®, Excel®, Minitab®, Statgraphics®, etc. Also, you can save/copy the graphics and results to create your own reports. CalEst Features Statistics Measurements of central tendency (mean, median, mode, standard deviation, percentiles, variance, skewness, kurtosis, geometric mean, harmonic mean, etc.) Process capability Control charts (x-R y x-S) Six Sigma (normal distribution) Design of experiments 2k Factorial Plackett-Burman Central composite Box-Behnken General Factorial Inference Hypothesis test o One mean (t, z, Chi-squared) o Two means (independent, paired; z, t, F) o Proportions o Variance (Chi-squared, F) o Non parametric (K-S test, sign test) Confidence intervals ANOVA Chi-squared test Graphics Histogram Polygon-cumulative frequency Frequency Polygons Empirical distribution FDA Histogram + Polygon Pie chart Dot plot Stem-and-Leaf plot Box plot Dispersion plot Frequency table Regression Simple Multiple Polynomial Distributions (density and cumulative) Normal Weibull Gamma Exponential Beta t-Student Chi-squared F Lognormal Logistic Extreme value Uniform (continuous and discrete) Bernoulli Binomial Poisson Calculator Probability paper Tools Sort data (from low to high, from high to low, shuffling data) Operations between data columns (normalization, logarithmic, exponential, inverse, etc.) Random Number Generator Number generator following a function Counting techniques Tutorials Probability games Hypothesis test Quality Control
