SIGMOD is organized and will be operated exclusively for educational, scientific, and technical purposes in its specialty, which is the management of databases stored in
computing machinery, including techniques for describing such databases, efficiently accessing them, and securing them against unauthorized intrusion.

produced every few years as an expansion of the SIGMOD Digital Library.
