SUPERVISOR, AUTOMATED TRANSFER SYSTEM (ATS)
ADMINISTRATION
The Job
Reporting to the Director, Information and Communication Technology, the
successful candidate will, among other duties, be responsible for:
 Administering and managing ATS systems
 Managing technical operations of ATS
 Managing data and database maintenance
 Developing and maintaining continuity plans for databases.
 Conducting project activities in line project time scales
 Enforcing IT governance on managing data and compliance to best
practice.
The Person
 Must possess a Masters Degree in Computer Science /Information
Technology and certification in Oracle DBA and/or MS SQL.
 Must have 5 years practical experience in database designing and
administration in the following platforms (Oracle, MS SQL, Ms Access
and legacy databases(AS 400)
 Must have a proven track record of high-level languages systems and
development expertise (using oracle, Java scripting tools and VB. Net)
 Must be between 35 and 40 years of age
 Must have the following :i
Good analytical skills.
ii
Practical knowledge of relational databases
iii
Strong Select Query Language (SQL) scripting skills.

Practical knowledge of database tuning and database
performance enhancement skills

Practical knowledge of Project Management Skills

Excellent Inter-personal Communication Skills

Distributed Networks and Risk and Security Assessment Skills
SENIOR OFFICER, AUTOMATED TRANSFER SYSTEM (ATS)
ADMINISTRATION DATABASE
The Job:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Automated Transfer System (ATS)
Administration, the successful candidate will, among other duties, be
responsible for:
 Analysing and testing ATS application databases and middleware
 Implementing access controls on the ATS database/middleware architecture
 Conducting ATS database and middleware maintenance
 Maintaining continuity plans for ATS databases/middleware architecture.
 Ensuring logical setup documentation
 Conducting ATS project activities in line project time scales
 Enforcing IT governance on managing data and compliance to best practice
The Person:
The ideal candidates should satisfy the following:
 Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science /Information
Technology and with certification in Oracle DBA and/or MS SQL and
Technical training in Microsoft Software Development Tools

 Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in database administration
and/or data centre activities (vb.net, oracle, and c++)
 Must be between 25 and 35 years of age
 Must have:
i
Analytical and complex problem solving skills
ii
Programming, Project management, and Systems Security and Data
Integrity knowledge.
iii Strong interpersonal Communication Skills
iv Understanding of research and development methodologies

SENIOR OFFICER, AUTOMATED TRANSFER SYSTEM (ATS)
ADMINISTRATION NETWORK
The Job:
Reporting to the Senior Officer, Automated Transfer System (ATS)
Administration, the successful candidate will, among other duties, be
responsible for:
 Installing all ATS Network Software and Hardware
 Configuring Network Software and Hardware
 Assessing and monitoring ATS Network Equipment Performance
 Providing Network Infrastructure Support and Resolves problems
 Conducting Maintenance of Network Software and Hardware
 Participating in the deployment ATS project
The Person:
The ideal candidates should satisfy the following:

 Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science /Information
Technology and with Certification in Microsoft Technology and CISCO
Systems
 Must have a minimum of 4 years in maintenance and support of network
equipment and other related IT infrastructure
 Must be between 25 and 35 years of age
 Must have:
i
Knowledge of Microsoft technology and Linux platform plus CISCO
networking is a requirement.
ii Certifications include Cisco/CCNA or Microsoft Certified
Systems Engineer (MCSE)

OFFICER, AUTOMATED TRANSFER SYSTEM (ATS)
ADMINISTRATION
The Job:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Automated Transfer System (ATS)
Administration, the successful candidate will, among other duties, be
responsible for:
 Installing and maintaining ATS software and hardware
 Assisting in database administration.
 Assisting in managing ATS servers and monitors network performance
 Resolving ATS Network Hardware and database problems.
 Assisting in Network Administration
 Managing Inventory
The Person:

The ideal candidates should satisfy the following:
 Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science /Information
Technology
 Must be between 22 and 30 years of age
 Must have:
i Oracle database administration
ii Proven skills in Network Technologies such as A+, N+, Cisco,
Ethernet, TCP/IP and Microsoft Operating Systems required
