Marge Täks The aim of the course is to give students the basic knowledge related to entrepreneurship: company form, company policy in Estonia, developmental tendency, starting the business and analysis. The student who has mastered this course knows the concept related to entrepreneurship, knows the development of an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship, forms of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurs and enterprises. Developmental tendency, company policy in Estonia. Starting a business, resource and financing. Business plan and its principles. Analysis. Tax-system in Estonia. Basics of Management Lect. Marge Täks The aim of the course is to master the principles related to administrating. After completing the course students have to be familiar with the basic principles of administration, and be able to use IT devices for enterprise administration. The concept of organization and administration. The concept of administration functions. Data bases. Marketing Lect. Marge Täks The aim of the course is to master marketing concepts as well as to understand the role of marketing management and marketing process within the company. Student should be able to write, analyse, control and manage strategic and tactical aspects of the marketing plan. After successful passing the course a student knows: • The role of marketing and sales and its impact to the company’s efficiency and revenues. • Methods and tools to control and manage marketing processes. • Is able to analyse and make improvement suggestions to company’s product/ service portfolio and able to look for better solutions • Is able to communicate with media and advertising agencies as well as media (press releases). • Knows the importance of homepage structure as well as its actuality. Economic Analysis Lect. Martin Toding The course aims to provide an overview of economic theory, economic analysis and evaluation methods, and financial and investment decisions. Computer Models for Enterprise Management As. Prof. Andrei Mištšenko Processes of modern enterprise management need a large amount of calculations. The researching of various tools for automatization of calculations in MICROSOFT EXCEL environment is the main goal of this learning course. Separately there are explored problems of searching of optimal solution for enterprise management. This course also includes using of graphical applications.
