Kidney and Bladder Cancers:
This biennial, multidisciplinary, one-day conference will provide a clinical update on the biology, therapeutic
modalities and medical management in patients with kidney and bladder (urothelial) cancers. Didactic lectures
will present current science, ongoing clinical trials and future research directions including many recent advances
in multi-disciplinary management approaches to patients with early stage, high risk, and metastatic disease.
Interactive discussions with experts in the field will enhance the learning experience.
Target Audience
This conference is intended for urologists, medical
oncologists, radiation oncologists, nurses, advanced
practice clinicians, residents, fellows and healthcare
practitioners interested in the biology and management
of kidney and bladder cancers.
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital designates
this live activity for a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category
1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit
commensurate with the extent of their participation in
the activity.

Bladder Cancer
• Describe the evaluation and management of
recurrent non-muscle invasive bladder cancer
• Evaluate molecular advances in urothelial
carcinoma that support personalized bladder cancer
management strategies
• Describe the evolution of immunotherapy in the
treatment of advanced urothelial cancer
• Utilize appropriate multidisciplinary adjuvant therapy
approaches for muscle invasive bladder cancer
• Analyze critical clinical questions in urothelial
carcinoma that are being addressed by clinical
research
