Geometry found in Art, Architecture and Nature By Samuel Joseph Examples of points, segments, rays, intersecting lines and parallel lines Examples of Angles acute, right, obtuse, straight, complementary and supplementary angles Triangles Classified by Angles acute, obtuse and right Triangles classified by their segments or sides Polygons 3 different types of quadrilaterals Polygons find at least 2 other types (no triangles or quadrilaterals) Congruent and Similar Figures Line Symmetry Summary • • • • • • • • • • • The last slide in your presentation will provide a summary of your project. The summary should include some overall thoughts on the project: What was your method of finding pictures? My method of finding pictures was I typed geometry in art nature and architecture or a shape or angle in nature on Google. Did you need any help? I actually needed some help to find the different triangles. What was the most difficult picture or image to find? The most difficult picture was the ray but Mrs. Conte explained it more to me. What was the easiest? The easiest was the line of symmetry. Did you enjoy doing this project? I really enjoyed this project because it helped me realize geometry is everywhere.
