Standard list of abbreviations for the Oxford Handbook of
Evidentiality
If you need to abbreviate any of the categories, etc., listed below, then please use the abbreviations
from this standard list.
You will need to let us know
(a) which of the abbreviations from the standard list you are using; and
(b) which additional abbreviations (things not on the standard list) you are using.
We will then collate all abbreviations into a single master list at the beginning of the volume.
Note: when you compile your list of abbreviations, please have this on a separate document (not on
the same document as your chapter).
The standard list is presented in two ways.
First, organised by grammatical relations, word classes, etc.
Second, alphabetical.
