Jeff Senior Bio:
A 30-year veteran of the travel industry, Jeff Senior joined Fairmont Raffles
Hotels International in March 2005. As the company’s executive vice president,
marketing & sales, Mr. Senior serves as the customer advocate, providing
leadership and strategic direction for brand management and marketing, with an
emphasis on the brand performance group, which includes the global sales,
marketing, ecommerce, revenue management, loyalty, and distribution
disciplines. He directs the branded lifestyle businesses, which include golf, spa,
and retail.
Previously, Senior was in a leadership position with InterContinental Hotels &
Resorts, where he served as vice president, brand management, responsible for
ensuring the successful implementation and enhancement of the InterContinental
global brand strategy. An innovator, Senior served as vice president sales &
marketing, and was instrumental in the successful brand management and
marketing plan development and execution for boutique hotel operator, Kimpton
Hotels, during one of their most robust growth periods. In addition, he has held
positions of increasing responsibility in both operations and sales & marketing
with Marriott Hotels & Resorts and Doubletree Hotels.
Senior, a biology major at the University of California, Santa Barbara, also holds
an MBA from Pepperdine University. He serves on the America’s board, and is
global chair of HSMAI; serves on the United States Travel Association board and
policy committees, and serves on the board of the American Travel Marketing
Association.
