Employment and Experience KSU CIS Department - Software Developer – Smart Farm (Summer 2012 – Current) Began development of Smart Farm simulator via GK-12 and NSF grants. Accomplishments: Developed modules to aggregate and visualize various forms of GIS data in Unity3D. Helped convert legacy Fortran code to C# for implementation of a crop model in Unity3D. - Undergraduate Research Developer and IT Admin - Cybercommons (Fall 2011 – Current) Configured and administered VM machines as well as developed client/server side UI. Provided support administration for the CIS Beocat cluster system. Accomplishments: Developed a web portal and file share application to provide secure upload, access, calculation, and sharing of large river flow datasets for the KSU Biology Dept.’s Fish Ecology Lab using MySQL. - Undergraduate Research Assistant and Developer – Argus (Spring 2009 – Fall 2011) Developed a java interface to be integrated with existing MulVAL security assessment software for network administration and intrusion detection research. KSU IDEAS Lab - IT and Research (Fall 2006 - Spring 2007) Assisted in desktop upkeep and helped with various projects including viscosity testing, neutron activation analysis, and thermal testing of cpu cooling products under load. Accomplishments: Designed a 3D model of airplane fuselage wind tunnel using AutoCAD. Built and repaired multiple computer systems and remote cooling setups. Collected viscosity test results for analysis towards a composite on dysphagia. Extra-Curricular Experience: Competed in the Midwest Regional Colorado Cyber Defense Competition at Regis University via KSU CIS’s Argus Cyber Defense group.
