Re: - Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy Course
Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding the above course.
The school currently offers a 12 month orthodontic therapy training programme; successful
completion of which allows a student to sit the Diploma Exam in Orthodontic Therapy of the
Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. The latter qualification enables registration with the
GDC as a qualified orthodontic therapist.
The course consists of an initial 1 week induction programme (June); followed by a 3 week
core induction programme (August) and 10 additional study days which are delivered from
September 2017 to May 2018 at the Central Manchester School for Dental Care
Professionals.
The remainder of the training will take place within the trainee’s orthodontic practice or
department under the supervision and guidance of your specialist orthodontist trainer.
