C. Angeli is a professor at the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus, Greece, General
Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. She holds an MSc in Intelligent Systems
from the University of Plymouth, U.K and a DPhil in Intelligent Fault detection Techniques
from the University of Sussex, U.K.
Her research interests include artificial intelligent techniques for fault detection,
combination of artificial intelligence techniques with numerical methods for prediction of
faults, real-time expert systems, web based expert systems, fuzzy systems, neural networks
and genetic computing.
She has published two books in computing and chapters in scientific books regarding realtime expert systems and prediction of faults using the expert systems paradigm.
She has published referred articles in international journals and conference proceedings and
she has been served as International program committee member in many conferences
regarding AI, modeling and simulation and as reviewer in International Journals.
She is currently member of the Editorial board of two international Journals and associate
Editor of the Expert Systems Journal.
She is a member of ΙΕΕΕ computer society, IASTED (International Association of Science and
