FRENCH 2011/12 SPECIALIST OVERVIEW: Units & Assessments Art Oerview POI Focus Unit/s POI Integration Portfolios KINDERGARTEN Central Idea: People celebrate in many ways Lines of inquiry: What people celebrate The features of celebrations . We will discuss and share over the months some different ways of celebrating famous events. Some activities will include card making, songs, decorations etc. Cards, posters, pictures illustrating the kids doing these. GRADE 1 Central Idea: Every family has a history. Lines of Inquiry: Different family groups Significant events that are important to a family How our personal histories are the same and different We will review simple vocabulary related to the concept of family.
