Your task is to create a geometric drawing. You may draw just
about anything within reason. Your drawing needs to include the following components:
1.
Two different types of triangles (equilateral, scalene, isosceles.) All sides need to have
a measure located by the shape.
2.
Four different types of quadrilaterals (parallelogram, rectangle, square, rhombus,
trapezoid, or just a plain quadrilateral.) Indicate what type of quadrilateral you used. All
sides need to have a measure located by the shape.
2b.
At least four different types of polygons, except triangles or quadrilaterals. (pentagon,
hexagon, heptagon, octagon, nonagon, decagon) All sides need to have a measure
located by the shape.
3.
At least one pair of complementary angles, labeled by each angle.
4.
At least one par of supplementary angles, labeled by each angle.
5.
Three transformations – one translation, one reflection, and one rotation.
Indicate which type of transformation you used by each figure.
6.
One set of similar figures (may not be congruent.) Label your similar figures
7.
One set of congruent figures. Label your congruent figures.
8.
One set of parallel lines, that are NOT part of another figure. Label your parallel lines.
9.
One set of perpendicular lines, that are NOT part of another figure. Label your
perpendicular lines.
10.
Color your geometric masterpiece.
