Proving Similarity
Two triangles are similar if you can prove one of the
following:
The ratios of the sides are proportional
2. Two angles in one triangle are congruent to 2 angles
in another triangle (AA)

Proving Congruence
To prove two triangles are congruent to each other you
need to show one of the following:
1. Side-Side-Side
2. Side-Angle-Side
3. Hypotenuse-Leg
4. Angle-Side-Angle
5. Angle-Angle-Side
Corresponding parts of congruent
triangles are congruent (CPCTC)
If you have proven two triangles are congruent, then you
may say that any corresponding part of those triangles
are congruent even if it is not given.
