Cell – smallest organism that demonstrates all the characteristics of life
Tissue – group of cells of same type working together for a common purpose
Organ – group of tissues wording together in a central location for a common purpose
Organ system – group of organs working together for a common purose
Organism - single complex form of life
Species - one type of organism in a study area
Population – all of a single species found in a single study area
Community – all of the populations in a study area
Ecosystem – all the living and non living things in a study area
Biosphere – all parts of the earth that can and does maintain life
