Lesson 7.2 Two Proof Oriented
Triangle Theorems
WARM-UP
Lesson 7.2 Objective
• Two Proof-Oriented Triangle Theorems
– After studying this section you will be able to
apply the No-Choice Theorem and the AAS
theorem.
Close your books, take your notebooks out!
Please do not verbalize your answers until
instructed to.
Today’s procedure
1. Contemplate questions without
discussing them.
2. When instructed discuss what you are
thinking with a neighbor.
3. Come to agreement with your neighbors!
No-Choice Theorem
• If you have two triangles where two sets of
corresponding angles are congruent, what
can you say about the third angle?
• Prove it!
• Questions: Will both triangles be
congruent?
Another Theorem To be named
shortly!
• Given two triangles where two angles and
a non-included side or one triangle are
congruent to the corresponding parts of
another triangle can you draw any
conclusions?
• Prove it!
• This is called AAS
Try These on Your Own

Practice for homework
• With your neighbors do the sample
problems. Should you have extra time,
please start the homework.
