Power Supplies: Portfolio 2014 – A brief explanation
 Weidmüller has now 3 main lines of power supplies in different performance classes:
 PROeco
- compact and economical
 PROmax
- powerful and flexible
 PRO-H
- specific and demanding
 PROeco:
 will completely substituting the Ecoline until end of 2014
 please take care that every Ecoline customer is converted to PROeco until the end of this year
 PROeco power supplies can be used with Ecoline diode module DM10 and DM20
 PROmax:
 will completely substituting the PRO-M until end of 2015
 PRO-M customers must be turned to PROmax step by step
 PROmax power supplies can be used with PRO-M diode modules CP M DM20 and CP M DM40
 System components:
 All system components can be combined with PROeco and PROmax

Space-saving
The extremely small width and the direct side-by-side mounting saves much
space at the DIN rail.
Robust voltage input
The high overvoltage category III, the high input voltage range of 85…277V AC
and the high immunity against voltage sags (SEMI-F47) provides reliable power
even under difficult line voltage conditions.

PROmax offers flexible solutions for ambitious
automation
Universal application
Variants with 3 A to 40 A output current, output voltages of 5 V DC to 48 V DC
and numerous approvals (e.g. GL, UL, Cl1 Div.2) make PROmax usable for
most applications in the world.
Powerful
The power reserve of 120% continuously up to 45°C and the additional
dynamic power reserve of 150% for 4s and of 300% / 1ms will provide reliable
power even under difficult load conditions.
Extended temperature range
The guaranteed start-up @ -40°C provides the outdoor use even under
extreme climatic conditions.

What is new ?
PROmax is the successor of PRO-M and is fit with newest
modern technology. This provides much more benefits.
Smaller housings, reliable start-up @ -40°C, higher
overvoltage immunity (1ph: … 277 VAC, OVC III), Relay
contact, Additional approvals (CCC, Cl1Div2), shock and
vibration resistance=30g/2,3g, low power losses at no load
Is PROmax even combinable
with the UPS system and other
extension modules?
Yes, that´s our philosophy of modular systems. PROmax can
be used in combination with all well-known components like
UPS control units, buffer modules or the PRO-M diode
modules or the CAP module.
Is it possible to trip
mcbs with PROmax ?
PROmax can be used in combination with the CAP module to
trip mcbs. This is our philosophy of modular systems. The
products are expandable with additional special functions for
always optimal fit to the application.
