DESCRIPTION
Marketing is the process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion and distribution of ideas, goods and services
to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational objectives. Marketing focuses on market segmentation, target market
selection, positioning, development/pricing of products, selection of distribution channels, and product promotion to consumers
and businesses. This leads to careers in sales, management of sales/marketing, marketing research, advertising, and retailing. The
AACSB accredited School of Business and Economics at Fayetteville State University offers a Bachelor of Arts in Business
Administration with a concentration in Marketing. A minor in Marketing is also offered. For more information contact the
