 THE PROKARYOTIC CELL
• Single-celled organisms
• No nucleus, no organelles
 THE EUKARYOTIC CELL
• The Nucleus Is the Information Store of the
Cell
• Animal and plant cells are typically 5-20um in
diameter and can be seen with a light
microscope.
• Presence of organelles
