UNIVERSITY OF OREGON The Pre professional Therapy curriculum suggested by the University of Oregon for General Science, Biology, and Exercise and Sport Science majors/options can fulfill ALL of the prerequisite coursework required by Eastern Washington University. Specific course requirements and the courses that satisfy these requirements are listed below for your convenience. Please note a change in the behavioral science prerequisite. Biology One quarter of lower division anatomy is satisfied by ANAT 311 and lab ANAT 301 (314) (Human Anatomy) One quarter of upper division biology is satisfied by ANAT 312 and lab ANAT 302 (315) (Human Anatomy). This requirement may also be fulfilled by other upper division biology courses as described in the Physical Therapy Prerequisite Information Sheet. SUCH AS Biol 330 – Microbiology OR HPHY 381 – Biomechanics OR HPHY 410 – Integrated Endocrine Physiology Physiology One quarter of lower division physiology is satisfied by HPHY 313 and lab 316 (Human Physiology) One quarter of upper division physiology is satisfied by HPHY 314 and lab 317 (Human Physiology) OR HPHY 371 Physiology of Exercise Chemistry One year of Chemistry with labs is satisfied by CH 221, 222, 223 and labs 227, 228, 229 (General Chemistry) OR CH 224 – Honors General Chemistry CH 225 – Honors General Chemistry CH 226 – Honors General Chemistry CH 237 – Advanced General Chemistry Lab CH 238 – Advanced General Chemistry Lab CH 239 – Advanced General Chemistry Lab Physics One year of Physics with labs is satisfied by PHYS 201, 202, 203 and labs 204, 205, 206 (General Physics) Behavioral Science Any two courses in behavioral science including psychology, sociology and anthropology.
