Regional Clinical Director (5/02-9/07): In addition to the responsibilities of the Clinical Director,
the Regional Clinical Director manages all TLC Michigan Clinical Optometrists and Optometric
Residents, while serving on the Executive Team representing the clinical operations of the refractive
and medical surgical centers. Design and implementation of clinical protocols, risk management, and
clinical trials are also part of job duties. Significant experience in managing, treating, and
coordinating care of all types of refractive and medical-surgical cases (over 21,000 cases).
Clinical Director (1/00-5/02): In addition to the responsibilities of a Clinical Optometrist, the
Clinical Director also provides input on marketing, budget, and other financial aspects of running the
center. The growth and development of the network of over 400 referring doctors remains a critical
job requirement. Clinical care revolves around refractive-surgical, medical-surgical, and optometric
referral patients.
Clinical Optometrist (1/99-12/99): Responsible for the pre-operative and post-operative
evaluation and management of primarily refractive surgery patients, while directing and coordinating
the clinical education and referral protocols of affiliate doctors and staff members.
