ARTISTIC INTENTION
Experimental Music is a meaningless genre of music. Therefore, I intended
to create an experimental music using a software – Garageband, which
will give a technological twist towards the final product. Experimental
music has been one of the interesting things I have learnt in Music.
While working towards completing the task, I have been inspired by
various artist such as Leonard Bernstein and Art of Noise. Through the
learning process, I found out that experimental music has no rules.
Meaning a person who has never played an music instrument before,
can create an experimental piece. An experimental piece doesn’t have to
sound good, as it is experimental. It was interesting as we didn’t need to
follow the Western Method of writing score, and it can easily be done
using GarageBand.
