Prove this Theorem True by Indirect Proof
Lesson 48
Assume that line n is not perpendicular to line m. If
that is true, the measure of angle 1 is not 90˚. But
that would mean that the corresponding angles are
not congruent which contradicts the Corresponding
Angles Postulate. Therefore angle 1 must measure
90˚, which makes it a right angle, which means nm.
