Elisabeth Schimana (A) has been working as a performer, composer and radio
artist since 1983. She studied electro-acoustics and experimental music at
the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst (Vienna) and musicology and
ethnology at the University of Vienna. She leads the International Theremin
Orchestra, which some years ago produced the CD *Touchless*.
