(+)The political structure of Mesopotamia and Egypt were similar
as both had one ruler, Mesopotamia was ruled by a King and Egypt was
ruled by a pharaoh. Though small differences exist in the social
structure, women had more legal and social freedom in the Egyptian
society than in the Mesopotamia Society.
(+)While both Mesopotamia and Egypt both have political and
social structures, both societies have similarities and differences in their
structures, such as, Mesopotamia is ruled by kings and Egypt is ruled by
pharaohs. Mesopotamia and Egypt are similar in society, because they
place all slaves/peasants at the bottom.
The Egyptians and the Shang China were similar as well as
different in their social and political structures. Both societies were
socially similar, both being patriarchal, male dominated societies.
However both also had political differences, Egyptians were ruled by
Pharaohs who were seen as gods on earth, while the Shang China was
ruled by Emperors, as rulers who were chosen by the mandate of
heaven.
The complex political structures and ideas between the
Mesopotamians and the Egyptians are very similar both being a male
dominated patriarchal, religious monarchies ruled by pharaohs and
kings. These two had very similar key differences as well, such as the
unification of various kingdoms and the law systems and the roles the
people played in the societies.
The political and social structures of the ancient civilizations of
Mesopotamia and Egypt are similar in the fact they both had a writing
system. Mesopotamia having the Cuneiform, the earliest form of
writing and Egyptian writing consisted of Hierogliphics. The ancient
Civilizations contrast in the fact Egyptian society was less urban than
Mesopotamian society and women enjoyed more freedoms and legal
protections. These both ancient civilizatinons also built pyramids or
ziggurats, which are both built as pyramid-shaped towers.
