19th International Conference
on Management of Data COMAD 2013

The International Conference on Management of Data (COMAD) has been a premier international database conference
hosted in India for several years now by Computer Society of India. The first COMAD was held in 1989, and it has been
held on a nearly annual basis since then. COMAD 2013 - is being organized by CSI SIGDATA, CSI Division II
(Software) and CSI, Ahmedabad Chapter.
COMAD is a technical conference and has always had a significant international participation, with about 30% of the
papers being from outside India, including Europe, USA and East/South-East Asia.
The conference covers a wide range of topics in database systems, data mining, and information retrieval. During the
conference, presentations of research papers, demonstrations, industrial presentations, tutorials and panel discussions
are planned. It also has a special work-in-progress track for presenting ongoing work and receiving feedback.
PAPERS: In the conference, 6 full papers, 1 industry paper, 7 short papers, 3 papers on work-in-progress and 3
demonstrations will be presented.
PROCEEDINGS: The proceedings will be published by the Computer Society of India (CSI) and will also be available as
part of ACM online proceedings. The entries will be indexed by DBLP.
