Applications
Incroslip SL is a specially developed, food approved additive with
exceptional slip and stability properties. It is patented market leading
technology that delivers long lasting high slip along with superior colour,
oxidative stability and improved organoleptic properties.
Mode of Action
During polymer cooling, Incroslip SL migrates to the surface forming a
lubricating layer. The layer of Incroslip SL reduces the CoF lowering
friction between surfaces.

Guidelines for Use
Incroslip SL is compatible with a wide range of polymers and can be
incorporated via a masterbatch, compound, liquid colour system or simply by
direct addition. It is provided as 100% active free flowing beads and
initial addition levels are 0.1-0.25% for film grades, 0.2-0.5% for
injection molding grades and up to 1% for compression molding grades.
Croda is among the world leaders in additives for the plastics industry and
has experienced plastics technologists who can provide technical advice for
specialised applications if required.
