Science Process Skills
1. OBSERVATIONS:
*There are two kinds of observations:
1. Qualitative: Observations made by
touching, smelling, tasting, viewing, listening
Examples:
2. Quantitative: Observations made by using
tools that measure (to be accurate or precise)
Examples:
2. Inferences: Inferences are based on observations and
are simply explanations of what we see, hear, taste, smell
or feel (must be logical).
3. Predictions: Predictions are made by using data from
the past along with information that is available today.
