Founded in 1935 and head-quartered in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the group
is the mother company of Alessa Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Company (ARAC)
which manufactures and produces Air Conditioners, Evaporative Coolers, Refrigerators and Freezers in its factory in Riyadh. Hamad Abdullah Alessa and Sons Company
(HAASCO), the commercial arm of the group for home appliances with its own

Hamad A. Alessa and Sons Company specializes in the supply, installation and
maintenance of cooling systems (light commercial), commercial and industrial.
In addition, it manufactures custom air handling units with Multifan technology
through our sister company Alessa Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (ARAC)
company for commercial units. The launch of VRF systems recently supports
residential and light commercial Air Conditioners to provide complete HVAC solutions
for the customers and meet the requirements of Saudi market.
Also, we became the distributor of Samsung system Air Conditioning and
Smart Display Solution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Our R&D Center functions with following clear

Presently R&D has got 4 Laboratories of
Psychrometric labs, which are entirely controlled by
computers for precise simulation of various ambient
conditions and to test our products under various
stringent National and International standards. These
testing laboratories are accredited for compliance to
ISO 1725 by Saudi Accreditation Committee (SAC), for
testing and approval of air conditioner product for
the local market with SASO registration.
The testing data operation system is controlled by a
programmable controller which will run automatically

testing product.

These labs are applicable to test the performance of various single phase and three phase product of window
type, split type, free-standing type, ceiling cassette type and ducted type using the National & International
standards meeting the need of product optimization and product development.

Psychrometric labs consist of an Indoor side room
and an Outdoor side room for testing the air
conditioner products up to a capacity 5 Ton. The
cooling capacity, heating capacity and other
performances of air conditioner measured under
various test conditions by means of testing the test
room parameters, such as temperature, humidity,
air volume, pressure and electrical performance.

we conduct safety tests and functional tests on all
our line of products. We also conduct performance
tests at full load design conditions on our product line
of packaged units.
Our performance testing standards are in
compliance with the standards set by Eurovent,
ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating
and Air-Conditioning Engineers) and AMCA (Air
Movement and Control Association International,
