Introduction of Woodward L’Orange main fuel injector nozzle body and
pilot valve repair kits
WinGD is aware that in cases where injectors have operational issues prior to their scheduled Time
Between Overhaul (TBO), operational injector components are being replaced due to the configuration of
the injector kits. To address this issue, two new kits are introduced to reduce the cost and waste of such
repair work.
The injection module kit is now available in two parts (see Figure 1-1):
· The valve plate kit
· The nozzle body kit
Note: All kits in Figure 1-1 are delivered with a full set of O-rings.
The injection module kit is still available and should be considered as the standard maintenance kit.

and testing of these components is impossible on board, no warranty is offered on the new valve
plate and nozzle body kits after installation. For this reason, these new kits are only intended as
repair kits.
Wärtsilä, one of WinGD’s service partners, is preparing a remanufacturing solution for injection
module kits with appropriately matched and tested components. This is a cost-effective
maintenance option available in the near future.
