Hardness: hard to soft , scratched or not

Density : the number of grams per cubic meter. Density varies from
metal to metal

Tensile strength: to withstand a stretching force(application cables
and bridges)

Melting point: solid to liquid temperature
•
Mercury is the only liquid metal at room temperature

Chemical reactivity :reactions with other substances some are
unreactive, others react with water and some are explosive
