steps for upgrade phone
1. Setup a TFTP server in your local LAN .
2. Check IP for your TFTP server , for example your TFTP server IP is
192.168.5.10
3. unrar file , there are 3 file inside , 546.cfg , vr8x00.vi , vr8x00.vb
4. edit 546.cfg for your TFTP server , 546.cfg is a text file , you can
use texteditor to modify.
change

FIRMWARE=vr8x00
PARTITION=vr8x00
to
[PROVISION]

[UPGRADE]
PROTOCOL=TFTP
SERVER_IP=192.168.5.10
PORT=69
FIRMWARE=vr8x00
PARTITION=vr8x00
modift SERVERIP= and SERVER_IP= with your TFTP server IP .
5. copy 3 files to TFTP server root folder .
6. Connect WIFI
press dial icon , then dial **6862* dial turn on menu , select "5 Wifi AP
Scan" , select the AP you need and entry password .
if phone show "Wifi not enable" , please press **6863*dial for enable
WIFI .
7. Setup Provision IP
after connect WIFI , press **6861*192*168*5*10# Dial , 192*168*5*10
is your TFTP server iP , if command is accept , screen will show Provision IP:
x.x.x.x
8. setup provision file
Press **6862*546# dial , screen will show Provision File 546.cfg
9. reboot phone . press **6868* dial , will reboot phone , you also can reboot
by remove battery and put it back .
10. after reboot, phone will try to download 546.cfg from your TFTP server ,
please check the log for TFTP server , once phone got file , it will setup where
to upgrade firmware .
of phone is not download 546.cfg , please check does connection between
phone and server .
11. Upgrade APP : after phone got provision file , entry menu again **6862*
dial , select Upgrade APP , then press Yes , please check does upgrade is
finish .
phone will download vr8x00.vb when upgrade APP . this will take few
mins .
12. Upgrade DATA: after upgrade APP success , entry menu again **6862*
dial , select Upgrade DATA , then press Yes , please check does upgrade is
finish .
phone will download vr8x00.vi when upgrade APP . this will take longer
then Upgrade APP .
Please don't upgrade DATA before you upgrade APP .
after upgrade DATA , you should have new logo for you , and please use
**6863* for disable WIFI .
