Koichi Amemiya
Executive Vice President and Representative Director -- Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
Chief Operating Officer -- Honda North America Region
President & Chief Executive Officer -- American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
Koichi Amemiya is chief operating officer of the North America Region within Honda’s 5-region global
organization and president and chief executive officer of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. Amemiya also is
executive vice president and representative director of American Honda’s parent company, Honda Motor
Co., Ltd. As a member of the board of directors and in his various positions, Amemiya helps oversee
Honda’s global operations. In addition, he is responsible for all sales, manufacturing and R&D activities in
North America; as well as for all American Honda operations in the U.S., including automobile, motorcycle,
power equipment, parts and export. Amemiya joined Honda in 1963.
Thomas G. Elliott
Executive Vice President -- American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
Tom Elliott is executive vice president of automobile operations for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. He is
responsible for product planning, advertising, marketing, public relations, corporate affairs, and distribution
for both Honda and Acura automobiles in the U.S. Elliott is a member of both the American Honda Board of
Directors and the Honda North America Board of Directors. Elliott joined Honda in 1970.
Koki Hirashima
Managing Director -- Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
President and Chief Executive Officer -- Honda of America Mfg., Inc.
Koki Hirashima is president and chief executive officer of Honda of America Mfg. (HAM) and a Managing
Director of Honda Motor Co., Ltd. He is responsible for manufacturing operations at HAM’s motorcycle
plant, two auto plants, and engine plant, all located in Ohio. Hirashima is also responsible for the
manufacturing and engineering functions of all Honda plants in Honda’s North America Region. Hirashima
joined Honda in 1969.
Larry Jutte
Senior Vice President -- Honda of America Mfg., Inc.
Larry Jutte is senior vice president of Honda of America Mfg. (HAM), general manager of HAM's
motorcycle and powertrain operations and general manger of parts and procurement. Jutte has served as
plant manager of both the East Liberty Auto Plant and the Anna Engine Plant in Ohio. Jutte joined Honda in
1985.
Charles Ernst
Vice President and Plant Manager -- Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, LLC
Chuck Ernst is vice president and plant manager for Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, LLC (HMA). As
plant manager, he is responsible for daily operations of the Lincoln facility, including automobile and engine
production. He has been involved with the Honda HMA Project Team since May of 1999 and has been
responsible for all phases of the new plant’s development. Ernst joined Honda in 1985.
Jeffrey Smith
Senior Manager -- American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
Jeffrey Smith is senior manager of Corporate Affairs and Communications of American Honda Motor Co.
He joined Honda in 1994.
