Sasol Mining: Brandspruit Coal mine – Shaft Manager Production Services: Feb 2009 to current:
Responsible for the maintenance and operation of underground services and utilities (400 personnel
– technical, operations and maintenance functions):









Coal conveying infrastructure.
Diesel equipment maintenance.
Water handling infrastructure.
Material transport.
Road building.
11kV reticulation and telemetric systems.
Geological drilling.
Fan and hoist maintenance.

Sasol Mining Transformation project: 2008 – Feb 2009
Nominated full time to the project team with responsibilities:




Manager of the program management office (PMO).
Conceptual design of the PMO of the future.
Aligning Sasol Mining’s Operations Excellence (OE) system with the Sasol OE system.
Responsible for the implementation of the Sasol OE system at Sasol Mining.
