Life is unpredictable. If anything should happen to you, you may need a financial safety net.
Good group insurance is a thoughtful way of giving yourself and your nearest and dearest
security if anything unforeseen should happen. The risks are shared by several people,
which means you get good cover for a low premium.
Accident insurance
Life insurance
Most people have accident insurance through their
job that applies during working hours. But many are
not covered if they should have an accident during
their leisure time.
With our accident insurance you can enjoy cover,
with no excess, that gives you compensation for
disability, death, rehabilitation and medical and
dental care, among other things.
The insurance also covers you in the event of a
crisis as a result of robbery, threat or assault that is
reported to the police, the death of a close relative,
long-term unemployment, severe illness or violence
in the family. Violence in the family does not need to
be reported to the police. You can receive compensation for up to ten visits to a psychologist or psychotherapist.
You choose for yourself the amount of invalidity
cover you wish to have and you can also insure your
spouse or cohabitant.
Life insurance helps you provide financial security
for your loved ones in the event of your death. It also
provides cover if you develop a long-term illness.
Death compensation is paid out both as a onetime lump sum and in monthly payments. It gives
survivors time to cope with the new financial situation arising from bereavement. The insurance cover
also includes life insurance for your children.
If you are affected by long-term incapacity to
work, you can receive a tax-exempt one-time
amount known as income compensation. New for
2014 is counselling support that enables you to talk
to a psychologist, economist or lawyer, for example,
about work-related or private issues.
You choose for yourself the amount of cover you
wish to have and you can also insure your spouse or
cohabitant.

Health insurance
Health insurance is designed to pick up where contractual compensation leaves off. When combined
with sickness benefits, health insurance can help
you recuperate up to 90 percent of your wages.
The insured sum is tax-exempt, and is paid out on
a monthly basis. The amount you receive depends on
the policy you choose and your level of incapacity to
work.
With this policy, you may also receive a one-time
lump sum – known as diagnosis insurance – in the
event of a specific diagnosis such as cancer, stroke,
meningitis or heart attack. You can also choose to
have a personal rehabilitation programme organised
by Svenska Re, which has a facility in Gran Canaria.
Health insurance is valid until the age of 65 or
until you begin collecting occupational pension.

Child and pregnancy insurance
Seniors insurance
Children often have less insurance cover than we
adults do. Certainly, many children have accident
cover through their school or pre-school, but the
amount of compensation is generally low and the
coverage rarely applies during non-school hours or to
children’s illnesses.
Our insurance covers both children and pregnancy
24 hours a day, from the tenth week of pregnancy
up to the age of 25. During pregnancy, life insurance
is included that covers the child, the mother and
the father/partner. After the child is born, he or she
is covered for both accidents and illness. You can
choose the amount of invalidity cover from 20 to 50
price base amounts, as well as diagnosis insurance
that gives compensation in the event of, for example,
cancer and cover for health care costs.
Seniors Insurance is for you if you have reached the
cut-off age for insurance. Your policy will automatically transfer to senior coverage and you can retain
the policy as long as you remain a senior member of
the union.
This policy includes life insurance, diagnostic
insurance and accident insurance. However, if you
have previously only had accident insurance, you
will not receive life insurance or diagnosis insurance
cover.
Life insurance provides a one-time sum to the
deceased’s estate or survivors, and you can choose
who will receive this sum. The amount to be paid out
depends on the value of your chosen policy and your
age.
Diagnostic insurance provides a one-time sum
should you be diagnosed with cancer, stroke or heart
attack.
Accident insurance provides compensation for
disability, etc. and covers costs for doctor’s visits,
hospital expenses, dental injury and damage to
personal effects resulting from the accident.
Child insurance from SEK 105 per month
Family cover
The need for good family protection can be especially
strong during certain phases in life, such as early
childhood. With our family cover, you can give your
family financial security in the event of your premature death.
Tax-exempt compensation is paid out an a monthly
basis for five years, if you should die before the age
of 65.
You choose for yourself the amount of cover you
wish to have and you can also insure your spouse
or cohabitant. An approved declaration of health is
always required when applying.

Medical care insurance
Medical care insurance allows you to access specialist
consultation and treatment immediately after you
receive a referral from your general practitioner. You
avoid waiting on healthcare waiting lists, no matter
where in the country you live. You receive access to
medical consultations, doctor’s visits, operations,
hospital stays, sessions with a psychologist, as well
as rehabilitation and follow-up care.
You will also be given the chance to try out your
online health profile.
This type of insurance offers a care guarantee.
Compensation is provided if you are not contacted
within three days and not receive care within 21
days.
