Contending Together for the Nations
Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as
your possession. Ps. 2:8
“…I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make
disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and
the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given
you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matt 28:18-20
And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world,
so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come. Mt 24:14
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families
of the nations shall worship before You. For the kingdom is the LORD’s, and He
rules over the nations. Ps. 22:27-28
Jesus came and was given all authority so that we can go and make disciples. Let us pray for the
Gospel to be preached to all nations. As we pray for the nations, we are praying for Jesus soon
return.
World Mission Prayer Targets:
 Unreached people groups/nations of the world: We are to ask and it will be given to us.
Ask specifically. There are many resources available to give you direction on what
people groups to pray for. (www.operationworld.org)
 Workers for the Harvest: "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord
of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Mt 9:37-38
o As you ask, be open to what the Lord would have you do in His harvest field
 Strongholds of Islam to crumble: There are many false religions, but none as fast
growing as Islam. We must dismantle the stronghold through prayer.
 Persecuted Church: All over the world Believers are persecuted and die for their faith.
Let us pray for supernatural strength, and that through their sacrifice the Gospel would
be spread.
Truelife World Mission Focus: West Africa
 Bishop Frank Agyapong: Bishop Frank oversees 23 churches within the rural portions of
Ghana. He has founded the Canaan Life Project to teach his people about the prosperity
and abundance that God offers—both for our physical and spiritual needs. Bishop has
also founded and oversees a school for nursery through junior high students, a



vocational school for girls rescued from prostitution, a Bible school for young pastors, a
pastor’s retreat and training center.
Canaan Life Project: A spirit of poverty runs rampant through believers and unbelievers
in this Nation. CLP offers an 18 month program that teaches Biblical principles of hard
work and financial wisdom. CLP reaches out to those who need the Good News in
practical ways through medical assistance, water/irrigation programs, youth
mentorship, and a vocational school for girls.
The Roscoe Family: The Roscoe’s are praying and believing for open doors to return and
serve with Bishop Frank. Their main focus would be setting up the Canaan Life Project
in the villages.
WHAT TO PRAY FOR GHANA, BISHOP FRANK, THE ROSCOES, AND THE CANAAN LIFE

Personal financial provision for Bishop and his family
Traveling Mercies (Bishop does a lot of traveling for CLP and to mentor his
pastors.)
Open doors and financial provision for the Roscoe’s.
Wisdom and discernment regarding the Roscoe’s return to Ghana.
Financial provision for Canaan Life Project (CLP has been halted on several
occasions due to lack of funds).
Spiritual maturity and wisdom for pastors and church leaders.
The chains of poverty and religion to be broken off the people of this Nation.
The walls of Islam to be torn down. Islam is practiced throughout Nation, but
has a strong hold on the northern regions of this country.
