Real-life Jurassic World?
A GIANT park containing Jurassic fossils, animatronic dinosaurs and an aquarium is set to open in
2021, according to the project’s founder, Michael Hanlon.

The park, called Jurassica, will feature

reptiles, as well as a saltwater lagoon, sea
caves and living corals.
Portland is on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast,
which in total covers a 150km (95-mile)
stretch of cliffs between Dorset and
East Devon. It contains rocks from the
Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
That covers over 185 million years of the
Earth’s history!

Only a few weeks ago, First News asked
Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard if
she’d want dinosaurs to come back, just
like in the film. Bryce said:
“We know what happens! I mean, this is
a cautionary tale. Dinosaurs and humans
cannot co-exist – this has been made
very clear in four movies now!”
Clearly, Hanlon didn’t read our
interview in time, as he has plans to
create a Jurassic World-style park in
the UK on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast,
where dinosaurs will walk the earth
once again… well, electronic puppet
dinosaurs.
