In order to follow the growth of the Large & Mining Machines department within the EMEA
region, the multinational is looking for his/her EMEA Engineering Manager.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA OFERTA:
Your responsibilities concern the Large Machines & Mining segments across Europe, Africa &
the Middle East:

- Take appropriate actions regarding all engineering & technical parts and component issues
within the Large Machines & Mining Group, whilst also providing full support and advice to other
group departments.
- Work very closely with other departments & subsidiaries to jointly develop technical parts and
overhaul packages to ensure customers' machines and/or projects match their performance and
cost targets.
- Proactively work closely with distributors and customers to create optimal technical site and
machine project management practices and aftermarket support solutions.
- Provide technical trainings, communicate best workshop & component practices to both
distributors and customers.
- Develop, manage and maintain technical overhaul packages/kits for all machines categorized
as being large & utilized within the Mining sector to meet customers' expectations.
- Significantly contribute to the improvement of existing and take the lead in developing future
Major Project Support programs.
- Significantly contribute to the creation of a new Large Machines & Mining support regime, with
clear business and engineering protocols linked to Service Level Agreements.
- Provide guidance, motivation, training and supervision concerning all engineering / technical
matters and ensure all activities are managed within the Company's policies and are reported
monthly.
- Via proactive distributors & customers visits understand their requirements and expectations,
then together with the Business Managers develop and implement joint actions plans to
maximize sales and customer satisfaction (price, product, promotion and distribution).
Located in Belgium, the role requires a huge flexibility with 50% travel, mainly in Africa.
QUE BUSCAMOS:
- You have a higher education in an Engineering or Mechanical related subject or similar by
experience.
- You have a minimum of ten years work experience and a detailed engineering understanding
of the mechanical structure and function of large construction and mining machines, specifically
the performance of the power line components and associated parts.
- You benefit from an international business experience, ideally within Africa.
- You speak English and French fluently.
- You are autonomous, PC literate, service oriented, with good communications skills (contact
with customers, distributors...).
- You are willing to travel extensively, mainly in Africa.
