Ornish Reversal Program
Built by the Beebe brothers themselves, the structure was
the birthplace of Beebe Hospital. Drs. James and Richard constructed the hospital on
cement blocks along with their father, which still stands today. The brothers’ original
office, formerly owned by Dr. Hall, was moved adjacent to the small constructed
hospital. Inside the walls of the newly constructed hospital was just enough space
for two patient rooms and an office. The brothers were joined by a staff of two nurses
and Dr. James Beebe’s wife Elsie, who did all the cooking for the hospital.
