About Me
Web developer with about 15 years' experience seeking work in a small, empowered team
that ships fast and often. I offer extensive experience in building highly performant, scalable,
and localized templates for web publishers and aggregating services. I’m no stranger to
ambiguity or complexity, thrive in a team environment, and am passionate about building
cool stuff.
I'm currently seeking an opportunity to return to web development, leveraging my deep
knowledge of CSS and web standards while having an opportunity to go deeper into
JavaScript and C#.
I also am a contributing member of the W3C CSS Working Group.

requirements for adaptive rendering and performance tools that are now part of ASP.NET. I
mentored developers at all levels and across the organization regarding CSS, HMTL, and
behavior implementations.
Web Developer @ Real Networks August 2003 December 2007
My small team built out the entirety of Rhapsody.com with Java/JSP.
My other contributions were building the middle tier to front end of RealNetwork's web
properties using their proprietary publishing platform in Java.
Web Developer 3 @ TeleCommunication Systems March 2000 June 2003
Built numerous customer facing e-commerce applications. Much of my work was building
provisioning tools for tracking wireless E911, commercial location, and mission critical
systems. Built Flash, WAP, and web experience demos for the XYpoint Location Platform.
Web Designer & Developer @ BizNexus August 1999 February 2000
Responsible for graphic design and building large scale static websites. Developed custom
web applications and database-web connectivity using Cold Fusion or ASP, JavaScript, and
HTML.

MSN Entertainment & Movies
News and Entertainment are examples of channels I built while dev’ing in MSN.
MSN Homepages & Channels
Built CSS and templates for network common components, which were used by markets to
assemble a homepage to suit their demographic. Features built included tabs, slideshow,
headlines, header, footer, web search, nav, social modules, and all variations of headline
modules.
Conducted code reviews with teams submitting code to the worldwide MSN Catalog. I
mentored engineers at all levels, helping them learn the tenets and value of developing
using web standards. I engaged design and collaborated with them to streamline design
deliverables and design interactive experiences for over 51 markets.
il.msn.com
Architected the strategy to get the MSN Catalog to support RTL markets.
KrispyKreme.com
This was long ago, but still I like to brag about it. I worked on the KK website in my first
couple years as a developer, building their online store in Cold Fusion.
Rhapsody.com
Wrote CSS, JavaScript (using Scriptaculous and Prototype JS libraries), and lots of JSP.
Contributed to the events driven external player and API, supporting the storm of mashups,
AJAX, and the media by subscription revolution.
