Ringler: Special industrial vacuum models
for intake of combustible dusts
Fired up for tough tasks
Winnenden/Waldstetten, May 2017 – Ringler is expanding its range of
industrial vacuums with special models for the intake of combustible
dusts. The five new machines from the RI 40 and RI 50 series are used
primarily where combustible and explosive dust may be generated in
production processes. The vacuum cleaners are designed for
deployment in non-explosive areas for vacuuming deposited dust in
dust explosion classes St1 to St3. Areas of application include metal
processing and the chemical and food industries.
Common to all five new models is a robust construction, intuitive
operation and a comprehensive safety concept. The machines are
electrically earthed in order to prevent ignition by static charge. The
suction power is continuously monitored. The potentially explosive dustair mixture is encapsulated internally, and therefore conveyed into the
waste container without coming into contact with electrical components.
The machines can be operated without special training – simply plug in
and switch on. By means of a sturdy shaker lever on the casing, the
filter can be cleaned during breaks to ensure sustained suction power. If
the filter needs to be changed, the drive head can be removed without
additional tools. The waste container is easy to empty and can be
lowered and transported on its castors. The machine itself remains at
the location of use.
Thanks to sophisticated sound-damping, the Ringler industrial vacuums
in the RI 40 and RI 50 series operate very quietly. The operator's
hearing is protected and the production environment is not polluted with
additional noise. The volume of the waste container is 40 or 50 litres,
depending on the model. The main filter is classified as dust class M,
and there is also a filter in class L. Two of the machines are designed

for AC (230 V) operation. They are intended for daily operating times of
two to three hours. The other three machines operate with three-phase
current (400 V) and can run continuously.
As a separate accessory, Ringler offers a suction hose, type "F-as",
with 115° connecting elbow and handle. The PU hose with concealed
wire coil is electrically conductive for static protection and suitable for
temperatures of up to 60°C. It is available in two lengths – three and
five metres.
