Animal Diabetes Australia
Supporting diabetic companion animals and their families
Part-time veterinarian with a keen interest in small animal medicine and client communication
Animal Diabetes Australia is a referral clinical service specifically for diabetic cats and dogs situated
in Melbourne. It was established in 2010 by Dr Linda Fleeman and has a steadily growing case load.
We focus on all aspects of diabetes treatment and monitoring as well as management of the
patient’s concurrent conditions. We particularly aim to support and guide owners with long-term
care of their diabetic pet at home.
The successful applicant will join a small team supervised by Linda Fleeman. A keen interest in small
animal medicine and a strong commitment to helping clients understand and manage their pet’s
illness are required. Ongoing communication and support of our clients helps to achieve successful
patient outcomes and provides us with great job satisfaction. The position is very flexible in terms of
hours and days, with approximately 50% of the workload able to be performed at your home.
Experience in small animal practice is required and advanced learning in small animal medicine such
as ANZCVS Membership will be an advantage.
Please direct any enquiries and applications to Linda Fleeman at
[email protected].
