2017 NBCT Leadership Summit
The NBCT Leadership Summit is designed for teacher leaders to engage in
conversations about critical issues that are impacting student achievement and teaching
as a profession. Specifically, conversations will be focused on identifying pathways to
teacher leadership and embedding the National Board for Professional Teaching
Standards Body of Knowledge into the culture of schools across the North Carolina. This
summit will capture voices of National Board Certified Teachers and result in the
development of school, district, and even state education policies. To register, click here.

Cost:
● This event is free! There is no cost to attend; however, advance registration is required.
Lodging:
● Participants traveling more than 60 miles to the Embassy Suites in Greensboro will be provided a
hotel room for the evening of June 13th (double occupancy).
Meals:
● Lunch and dinner are provided on June 13th
● Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided on June 14th.
