Point
Line
One dimensional and continues without end
in two directions.
Line segment
The portion of a line between two points.
Ray
A part of a line that starts at one point and
extends without end in one direction.
Parallel lines
A pair or more of lines that continue and
never meet.
Angle Bisector
A ray that divides an angle into two congruent
parts
Alternate Interior Angles
When two lines are crossed by another line
(which is called the Transversal), the pairs of
angles on opposite sides of the transversal
but inside the two lines are called Alternate
Interior Angles.
When two lines are crossed by another line
(which is called the Transversal), the pairs of
angles on opposite sides of the transversal
but outside the two lines are called Alternate
Exterior Angles.
