We are offering the opportunity for a numerically minded, ICT literate person
with good attention to detail, the chance to train and gain qualifications as an
Apprentice in our Accounts Payable team.
The role of the successful applicant will be to undertake training and gain the
necessary experience to assist in the provision of an effective and timely Accounts
Payable service which includes preparation and input of Creditor Payments,
Processing and Administration of Purchase Cards, Distribution and Reimbursement of
Petty Cash, Reservation and payment of Travel and Hotel Accommodation for staff.
Training will be provided in an Administration Qualification, within the Housing sector
The aim is to achieve a recognised qualification and develop skills, gain qualifications,
experience and confidence to compete in securing permanent employment.
Starting salary will be age related (subject to pay review); 16-17: £6,983, 18-20:
£9,442 and 21+: £11,845. Annual holiday entitlement will be 26 days.
To qualify for the position you must:


Be eligible to work in the UK
Be committed to a three year training programme, which includes studying for
an Apprenticeship Framework in Business Administration

Have not previously achieved the following qualifications - NVQ level 3 or a
Degree

Reservation and payment of Travel and Hotel Accommodation for staff
Competencies:
