Home
Louise Davidson, Chief
Executive Officer
Louise is the Chief Executive Officer of
the Australian Council of Superannuation
Investors (ACSI). ACSI is a collaboration
of Australian and international
superannuation funds that collectively
manage more than $1 trillion in assets.
ACSI works with its members on research
and policy formation; company and
financial system engagement; and
advocacy and voting advice, in relation to
environmental, social and corporate
governance (ESG) investment risk and
opportunity. Appointed CEO in April
2015, Louise has more than 20 years
senior expertise in the financial services
and superannuation industry. She joined
ACSI from Cbus, where, as Investment
Manager, ESG, she was responsible for
the integration of ESG issues within
Cbus’ investment processes.
In 2015 Louise was named Victoria’s
Local Hero in the Australian of the Year
Awards for her work as the co-founder
and National Chair of the Mother’s Day
Classic Walk/Run for Breast Cancer
Research. Established in 1998, this
ongoing national event has raised in
excess of $30m for breast cancer
research. Louise is a Director of the Peter
MacCallum Cancer Centre and a Director
of the Board of the International
Integrated Reporting initiative.
Ed John, Executive
Manager, Governance,
Engagement and Policy
Ed has been with ACSI since 2008 and is
responsible for policy, proxy voting
research and engagement with Australia’s
largest listed companies. He has
extensive experience engaging with
directors of ASX200 companies on a
range of ESG issues, and an insight into
the reporting practices of Australia’s
largest listed companies.
Ed is a lawyer with a diploma in financial
services and is completing a Masters in
Commercial Law.
Cath
Sullivan, Executive
Manager,
Communications and
Public Relations
Cath is responsible for ACSI’s media
relations and member communications.
Prior to joining ACSI in late 2015, she
spent six years as Interview Producer for
ABC TV’s Lateline program. Over a
long career in journalism she also worked
as a producer on a number of news
programs at Channel 7 and the ABC, and
had a stint at BBC World Service TV in
London. In 2007, she spent a year at the
AWU as its National Media Officer,
before a brief spell as a political staffer.
Connie
Howe, Executive
Manager, Finance and
Corporate
Services/Company
Secretary
Connie is responsible for overseeing
ACSI’s finance function, risk and
compliance matters, strategic and
business planning processes, internal
policies and procedures as well as
managing office facilities. As the
Company Secretary of ACSI, Connie is
also responsible for providing secretarial
services to support ACSI’s Board, Board
Committees and Member Council.
Connie’s extensive career in finance and
business consulting includes senior
positions at PwC and American
international Assurance.
Connie is a member of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants in Australia and a
Graduate member of the Australian
Institute of Company Directors.
Holly
Lindsay, Manager,
Research and
Engagement
Holly leads ACSI’s social and
environmental research projects and is
part also part of the engagement team.
Holly has worked in ESG and corporate
responsibility management positions with
BHP Billiton, CSR Asia (Singapore) as
well as running her own consulting
business.
She is a member of the board of
Transparency International Australia, has
an MBA from the University of
Melbourne, and an MA (Economics) from
Queen’s University (Canada).
Zoey Irvin - Manager,
Public Policy
Zoey is responsible for ACSI’s
engagement with policymakers with the
aim of increasing alignment between
regulatory and policy settings in the
interest of our members as long –term
investors.
Zoey is a lawyer with diverse experience
across commercial, advisory, litigation
and strategy roles in the public sector and
not for profit industries. Prior to joining
ACSI, Zoey worked for the Australian
Government Solicitor, the Treasury
Solicitor in London, the Australian
Federal Police, and the Public Interest
Advocacy Centre.
Ian
McIIwraith, Governance
and Engagement
Analyst
Ian is part of ACSI's governance research,
voting and company engagement
program. An experienced business
journalist by background, he is leading
ACSI’s drive to increase the amount of
women on company boards to a minimum
30%.
Ian is also involved in a range of
editorial-related tasks across the
organisation.
Anh Nguyen, Equities
Analyst
Anh joined ACSI in 2016 and is part of
the governance research, voting and
company engagement team. Prior to
ACSI, Anh worked in quantitative
research and policy roles in Industry
Super Australia, Lonsec Ltd and the
Royal Bank of Scotland.
Anh held first class honour from Monash
University. Her research on Australian
and international equity markets has been
published in a number of peered-review
journals.
Jodie Barns, ESG
Analyst
Jodie joined ACSI in 2016 as a part of the
SuperGrad program. Jodie has a Bachelor
of International Studies from Deakin
University and a Bachelor of Strategic
Communication from La Trobe
University.
Her final year research projects were on
inequalities in the global fair trade cocoa
industry and in indigenous transnational
advocacy networks.
Kim Eden, Manager,
Member
Communications and
Events
Kim joined ACSI in July 2008 to
coordinate the organisation’s
communications needs. Her primary
responsibility is to manage ACSI’s
member information, website,
publications, marketing materials and
events.
Prior to ACSI, Kim was based in the UK
for seven years working for international
oil and gas company Statoil, as their
Public Affairs Consultant.
Quyen Ngo, Senior
Accountant
Quyen provides assistance to the
executive manager of finance and
corporate services/company secretary.
Quyen joined ACSI in 2017, and her
diverse career in accountancy ranges from
roles in public practice, commercial and
non-profit organizations.
Quyen graduated from RMIT University
with a Bachelor of Business
(Accountancy) with distinction and is a
member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants in Australia.
Alex Skipworth, EA to
CEO/Team Assistant
Alex joined ACSI in March 2016 to
provide administration assistance to the
Chief Executive Officer and the wider
ACSI team.
Before joining ACSI, Alex was based in
New Zealand for 10 years supporting the
CEO and Board of one of New Zealand’s
dual-energy distributors
