What to look for in Low Blood Sugar






Shaky
Sweaty
Hungry/Stomachache
Irritable
Dizzy
Sleepy
Treatment for Low Blood Sugar
- Treat on the spot
Treat with:
 4 ounces (1/2 cup) fruit juice
 8 ounces (1 cup) sport drink
 ½ can regular soda
(not diet)
 3 to 4 glucose tablets
 1 tube glucose gel
 Call for help
 Do not send student
anywhere alone

If not treated, a blood sugar
will continue to drop
