On the mornings of Wednesday 28th December and Tuesday 3rd January we will be offering an
open surgery for anyone needing to see a GP, no appointment needed.
Repeat Prescriptions
The dispensary will have a limited delivery service from our suppliers over the holiday period
and we would therefore ask that you order any repeat medication in good time. If you are due to
run out of medication over the festive period please order early.
Flu Jabs
Just a reminder, it is not too late to get your seasonal flu jab. If you are aged 65 or over or have
diabetes, heart disease, chronic respiratory disease, kidney disease, are immunosuppressed or are
pregnant then you are entitled to a free influenza vaccination.
All children aged 2, 3 & 4 years as at 1st September are also recommended to have the new nasal
flu vaccination.
New Staff
Patients may notice a few new faces around the Practice in the coming weeks. Juliet joined the
dispensary staff in September and has finally got her pink uniform. We are also pleased to
welcome Charlotte Wickham as our new Practice Nurse along with Georgia (Admin Assistant)
and finally Denise joins our team of reception staff. This expansion of our team is very welcome
and will hopefully mean that the Practice Manager spends less time in Reception – to the benefit
of all (including patients)
